HOUSTON, August 15, 2002 – Hanover Compressor Company (NYSE: HC), a leading provider of outsourced natural gas compression services, today announced its top officers have certified the Companys Form 10-Q for the second quarter ended June 30, 2002, as required by Section 906 of the recently passed Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
Copies of the certifications, which were signed by Victor E. Grijalva, chairman and chief executive officer, and John E. Jackson, senior vice president and chief financial officer, will be posted on the Companys website.
